We push ourselves all day with caffeine and sugar. In fact, we idolize people who push themselves to exhaustion to get the job done.
But why are we a society of chronically worn-out people?
Why are other symptoms like brain fog, belly fat, gas, bloating and high cholesterol so rampant?
It could be due to a blood sugar issue called Insulin Resistance.



Diet and Exercise aren’t enough
(and they never were!)
Most of us think only diabetics have blood sugar problems. The truth is, there’s a whole continuum of blood sugar problems that occur before we reach diabetes. Insulin resistance is just one of those problems. It affects nearly 50% of the population but very few people are aware they have it.
We all know it’s important to eat right and exercise. But the Standard American Diet (SAD) is full of highly processed foods loaded with extra sugar. Even when we try to eat well, we still end up eating more carbs than we realize so our blood sugar levels suffer and as a result we experience the symptoms of insulin resistance.
So why isn’t watching what you eat and taking a walk every day enough to keep your numbers down?
Two reasons: First, there are more steps involved than just diet and exercise. Second, everyone’s body is different! What brings one person’s blood sugar down might spike someone else’s.
Unfortunately, standard medical advice overlooks these vital concepts leaving you with no alternative but to take more meds.

My story is probably a lot like yours. I grew up in a typical American family eating Captain Crunch, Fruit Loops or Pop Tarts for breakfast. Maybe we’d have Carnation Instant Breakfast if we were in a hurry.
Lunch was a sandwich, chips and a Little Debbie snack cake for dessert.
Dinner was something smothered in Cream of Chemical soup (ever notice there’s no cream in those “cream of” soups??)
And this continued on through college with breakfast out of a vending machine; lunch was a large McFries and a vat of Coke; dinner was pizza.
And of course no college experience would be complete without the all-nighters fueled by peanut M&M’s and Oreo’s.

Then in my mid-20’s it all caught up with me
What started in my late 20s as muscle tightness became, by my mid 30s, extreme fatigue and a host of other health concerns. At my worst I could barely even shower in the morning, I knew that I needed to take major steps to reclaim my health. But didn’t know where to turn.
A health crisis propelled me into the world of natural health. I just knew there had to be a way for food and lifestyle changes to control my debilitating brain fog, unrelenting fatigue, and unbearable muscle and joint pain.
My journey had me investigating everything from Paleo to Weston A. Price to Raw Vegan. As I cleaned up my diet I started feeling better! I switched to non-toxic cosmetics, personal care products, cleaners and laundry detergents. I continued to improve.
When I discovered insulin resistance and began working to bring my blood sugar back into healthy ranges.....WOW!
I woke up refreshed and energized. My brain actually worked without coffee!
I wasn’t starving and foggy all morning or craving cookies at 3:00.
I actually felt like getting up and doing things. My house was finally clean!

Module 1: Rehearse
June 20th - July 25th
Week 1: It’s hard to adopt new habits when you’re too exhausted to care, so we start this module off with a snooze. Yes, we’re talking sleep! You’ll learn tricks to fall asleep faster and stay asleep all night so your body has the chance to recharge. You’ll learn how to sleep like a baby again and wake up with “Good morning, Lord” instead of “Good lord, it’s morning!”
Week 2: Eating a low-carb diet isn't enough. One person is able to eat berries while they spike another person's blood sugar. Beginning with this lesson I’ll work with you to to design meals specifically for your lifestyle, budget and tastes that keep your blood sugar at optimal levels. This ensures a clear mind and tons of energy. You’ll enjoy delicious, nutritious meals that are simple to prepare.

Week 3: Many people struggle not only to find the time for exercise, but to find an activity they actually enjoy doing. You’ll learn several different 30 second activities that bust through the brain fog, and rev up your metabolism leaving you energized not exhausted. And I promise, they’ll be fun!
Week 4: When you eat is as important as what you eat. In this lesson I give you strategies for overcoming the “snack attacks” that cause blood sugar spikes. You’ll also learn one simple trick that maximizes your hormones leading to increased muscle growth. More muscles = leaner body, lower blood sugar, and more energy!
Week 5: We all know stress is bad for us. But few realize just what it does to our blood sugar. During this lesson you’ll learn strategies to soar through any stressful situation and arrive at the other side more rested and calm than you thought possible!
Module 2: Reboot
August 1st & 15th
This is where we roll up our sleeves and get to work! During this 4-week module I’ll help you maintain laser focus on your goal of consistently applying all 5 lifestyle tweaks you learned in module 1.
There’s no new material in this module – just lots of support to keep you on track to resetting your insulin receptors. We’ll meet every 2 weeks to maintain your momentum and overcome any struggle you may encounter.
You’re never alone during this course! I want more than anything for you to succeed!
Between sessions you’ll enjoy interacting with your classmates and me in our private Facebook group. Here we’ll share recipes, tips and tricks that get us through any obstacle life throws our way. We’ll lift you up on those days when change is hard and we’ll celebrate your every win on days when it all just clicks.

August 29th
It's time to celebrate!
During module 1 you learned the tweaks that keep your blood sugar steady. Then in module 2 you put that information to use and developed healthy habits that reset your insulin receptors. You feel amazing!
Now that you’ve achieved this new level of health, how do you maintain it?
In this final lesson you’ll learn how to determine when your body is ready to transition off the reset diet. You’ll create a sustainable, life-long approach to health that keeps you on track and I’ll give you “course correction” techniques to help keep you on the path to unstoppable energy.

Then in August we'll hit the Reboot module. That's where we get serious about sticking to the plan.By this time summer vacations are winding down and we're all preparing for back to school.. But if you do decide to take a trip, you've learned all kinds of new tricks you can use to stay on track while enjoying time away. And really, isn't adopting a healthy lifestyle the ultimate goal? So that includes healthy habits even while on vacation.
